Call for Papers

The FUW-International Journal of Administration and Management Sciences (FUWIJAMS) welcomes submissions from researchers, academics, professionals, and policymakers on a rolling basis. Contributors are to submit high quality and original manuscripts that contributes to the growing body of knowledge in the field of accounting, actuarial science, aviation management, finance, business administration, business information technology, co-operative and rural development, employment and human resource management, entrepreneurship, hospitality and tourism management, information resource management, insurance, local government and development studies, logistics and supply chain management, marketing, office and information management, petroleum information management, project management, procurement management, public administration, security and investment, taxation, transport management and other administration and management disciplines. Submissions must demonstrate originality, clarity, and scholarly contribution to the fields represented.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

·  Manuscripts should be written in English (United Kingdom) and structured according to the journal’s manuscript format.

·  Submitted manuscripts must be high quality, original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. It must offer a unique view from previous studies on the subject matter.

·  Manuscripts to be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format only.

·  Manuscript should be between 4,000–6,000 words (Maximum of 15 pages), including references, tables, and figures.

·  Submitted manuscript should be in Times New Roman, font size 12 point, and single line spacing.

·  All manuscripts will be tested for plagiarism. The maximum acceptable similarity index for FUWIJAMS is 20%, with AI-generated content limited to 5%.

·  All pages should be numbered using Arabic numerals.

·  Submissions of manuscripts must be made electronically through the designated email address: editor.fuwijams@fuwukari.edu.ng

·  Each manuscript should be accompanied by a non-refundable article processing charge of Five Thousand Naira Only (N5,000.00).

·  Accepted manuscript will be published upon payment of the publication fee of ₦25,000.00 for Nigerian authors and $60 (or equivalent in local currency) for International Authors.

Manuscript Format/Structure

Your submission should follow this structure:

1.      Title Page

Ø  Title of the paper

Ø  Full name(s) of author(s) (First name followed by middle name (if any) then surname)

Ø  Affiliations and email addresses

Ø  Corresponding author clearly identified. 

2.      Abstract

Ø  Maximum 250 words

Ø  Clearly stating the problematic, objectives, methodology, key findings, and recommendations.

3.      Keywords

Ø  Provide 3–5 keywords.

4.      Main Text

1.0            Introduction

2.0            Literature Review

3.0            Methodology

4.0            Results/Discussion

5.0            Conclusion

6.0            Recommendations

Note: Use subheadings to enhance readability.

1.      References

Ø  Use the American Psychological Association APA 7th Edition referencing style.

Ø  Ensure in-text citations are correctly matched with the reference list.

2.      Tables and Figures

Ø  Insert tables and figures in the body where they should appear.

Ø  Each must be clearly titled and numbered chronologically using the Arabic numerals.

Ø  Provide sources for tables/figures not created by the author.

Ethical Considerations

Authors must strictly adhere to ethical standards regarding:

Ø  Proper citation of sources

Ø  Authorship and contribution transparency

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To sustain open-access publishing and cover the editorial, peer-review, and production processes, the FUW-International Journal of Administration and Management Sciences (FUWIJAMS) apply a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of a manuscript. Each manuscript should be accompanied by a non-refundable article processing charge of Five Thousand Naira Only (N5,000.00) payable into:
